See Big Apple Circus: Metamorphosis at the Cerrito or Elmwood!

The Cerrito and Elmwood theaters are participating in a new event: for the first time in its 37 year history, New York’s original one-ring circus Big Apple Circus will beam a performance of METAMORPHOSIS, its new show for all ages, into hundreds of movie theaters across the US, Canada, and around the world.This is a real Big Top Circus with traditional circus arts and featuring original sets, music and choreography. The New York Times says about it, “A buoyant feast of universal fun…inspired…superb…it’s hard not to be amazed,” while the Washington Post calls it a ” “jaw dropping…awe-inspiring one-ring wonder.”

There will be only one showing of “Big Apple Circus: Metamorphosis” at the Cerrito, on Saturday, November 15 at 10 a.m. (just right for an outing with young children). There will be three showings at the Elmwood, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 22 and November 29, and again at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 4.
